Description
Kenos KVG60 – modular vacuum gripper with foam by Piab. Width 60 mm.
It works with a low-maintenance built-in multi-stage COAX® ejector or with an external vacuum source.
Check valves allow smaller vacuum pumps to be used and keep the vacuum level even when the gripper surface is not fully covered.
The gripping surface is technical foam (FDA-approved option available) with different hole pitches and thicknesses.
Typical applications: palletising and handling in the packaging, metal, glass and wood industries.
Suction force (94–220 N at 30–70 % vacuum, no safety factor) and weight (1–2 kg) are from Piab's catalogue for a 200 mm long version with 20 mm foam. Air consumption is 105 L/min per COAX Si32 cartridge at 0.6 MPa.
